Titre | Brow Securely generalizes the embedded Safari for iOS 9 |
|
||
Description | The new type of web view introduced in iOS 9 is extremely convenient; since this is roughly an embedded version of Safari, we have access to almost all browser data and functions in third-party apps. Specifically, we no longer need to reconnect to the sites if it is already in Safari and benefits blockers content. But not all applications support this new web sight, named Safari View Controller. If Twitterrific and Tweetbot have adopted it, it is still not the case of the official Twitter client and nothing says that it soon will be, since Apple does not require (for now) developers spend. This is obviously not as fast as if one falls directly on Safari View Controller, but it is still practiced in some cases. For example, if you post a comment on a site from the web for the official Twitter client, it is faster to launch Safari View Controller (thus automatically re-establish your connection) than to manually enter your username and password passes or launch Safari. Unfortunately, Browsecurely extension does not appear every time. Facebook, in particular, uses a non-standard menu that sharing does not give access to iOS extensions. Other applications, such as Reeder, not shown for their not always all available extensions. |
